RLC-3 Version 1.76 The following things have changed since V1.74: Increased beacon table size from 10 to 50 slots. Changed command 048 (start beacon with ascii words) so you have to specify which slot to start with rather than defaulting to 01 so can use it to start different beaconing sequences. Fixed HF problem that caused the auto-mode switching to take effect every time changed frequency (including bumping). Changed so the auto mode set only works when you change from a region that normally uses one mode to a region that normally uses another one (at 10MHz and 29MHz). Fixed problem which caused hf routines to change offset to 0 whenever changed frequency (including bumping). Now sets the offset to the default for that band, which should be what is was the last time it was used on that band (turning the offset off should not clear it). When turn serial queueing off with command 060, now flush the queue (output everything in it) before going on. Changed long distance dialing table checking. Now allow three digit numbers that are not autodials and all four digit numbers unless they are blocked in the nuisance table (which they are by default in slots 0 and 1). Allows for dialing pbx extensions. Allow table now defaults to allowing all 7 digit numbers. Added reverse patch answer event for Club and RLC-3 (RLC-5 already had it, RLC-4 is out of slots). Default audio routing is to the reverse patch only. The V1.75 manual should be used with software version V1.76. ------------------------------------------------------------ You can find this file and the others described below on our internet ftp site. The easiest way to access it is with a web browser through our homepage (http://www.link-comm.com). README.TXT This file. EPROMS.ZIP The files needed to burn this software version. The card rom data (included) is identical to V1.45. The voice eprom data (included) is identical to V1.41. EPROMS.ZIP should contain the following files: RLC3CARD.BIN should be loaded with offset of 0 as a binary file and burned into a 27C512 EPROM for each of the cards. It is the same as version 1.45. Checksum = B249. PROM1.BIN and PROM2.BIN should be loaded as binary files with no offset and burned into 27C010 or 27C001 eproms for the motherboard. PROM1 Checksum = E44B. PROM2 Checksum = EB29. Socket #3 should be empty. RLC3_VCE.141 should be loaded as a binary file with no offset and burned into a 27C010 or 27C001 eprom. It is only about 77K, so don't be concerned that the file size is different than PROM1 and PROM2. It goes in socket 4 on the motherboard. It is the same as V1.41. Checksum = 5DAC.
