	   MESSAGE WILL CANCEL AND EVENT 101 (DVR ID EVENT) WILL BE REQUESTED


2) FIXED THE HALF/FULL DUPLEX BUG THAT MYSTERIOUSLY APPEARED IN VERSION 4.23

3) MADE THE DTMF DECODER PRIORITY (SEE COMMAND 115) TO ACCEPT PRIORITY VALUE
   OF 0.  WHEN THE PRIORITY IS SET TO 0, THERE IS NO PORT THAT HAS ACCESS
   PRIORITY TO THE DTMF DECODER.  IT WILL BE HANDLED AS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.

You should not have to reinitialize if upgrading from V4.23.  You will
have to reinitialize if upgrading from V4.22 or earlier.

eproms.zip         the files needed to burn your own V4.24 eproms
		   for the RLC-2 and RLC-2a.

     The new manual is V4.24 and is in the rlc2/manuals directory.

Notes:

  To install the update you need to unzip eproms.zip and burn two 27C512
  eproms, one with the voice data and one for the main program rom.
  After installing the new roms, power up the controller while holding
  down the initialization button on the circuit board.  This will set
  everything up for factory defaults.  You can then begin programming.
  You may not have to reinitialize the controller if you are upgrading
  from a relatively recent version (4.00 or later).

    voice401.bin - Binary file for the voice rom
    rlc2a424.icm - RLC2a Binary file for main rom with Icom HF interface
    rlc2a424.kwd - RLC2a Binary file for main rom with Kenwood HF interface
    rlc2a424.yas - RLC2a Binary file for main rom with Yaesu HF interface
    rlc2_424.icm - RLC2 Binary file for main rom with Icom HF interface
    rlc2_424.kwd - RLC2 Binary file for main rom with Kenwood HF interface
    rlc2_424.yas - RLC2 Binary file for main rom with Yaesu HF interface

	Note:  if your controller serial number is 150 or later, it
	is an RLC-2a rather than a RLC-2.  There is no functional
	difference, but the software is slightly different.

PDF is Adobe's Portable Document Format.  This is a format that can be
viewed and/or printed from DOS, Windows, Macintosh, and Unix systems
using the appropriate version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader. Acrobat is
freely distributable;  you can download it from Adobe's ftp site.  If
you have difficulty with their site, let me know and we may be able to
post the reader ourselves.  You may be able to download the viewer
and/or manual files using your WWW browser. All of the applicable
addresses are listed below.
