RLC-2 V4.15 Software * VERSION 4.15 CHANGES 1) WE BELIEVE WE FOUND THE CULPRIT THAT WAS CAUSING RAMDOM PTT HANG-UPS. THE PROBLEM WAS AN INTERRUPT RACING PROBLEM. BECAUSE THE PROBLEM WAS SO RANDOM WE HAVE NOT PROVEN THE FIX IS A FIX. ALL INDICATIONS AND DATA RETRIEVED INDICATED THE PROBLEM. WE FOUND A 'QUESTIONABLE' VARIABLE THAT COULD BE CHANGED IN THE INTERRUPT. THAT VARIABLE WAS ALSO USED INI OTHER PARTS OF THE CONTROLLER. WE BELIEVE THAT IF THE INTERRUPT ASSOCIATED WITH THE VOICE OCCURRED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE 'SUSPECT' VARIABLE WAS LOADED IN OTHER PARTS OF THE CONTROLLER, THEN ANY CHANGES TO THAT VARIABLE COULD BE LOST. THESE CHANGES INVOLVED CLEARING THE VOICES ROUTING INFORMATION WHEN A WORD WAS COMPLETED. IF YOUR HANG-UPS GO AWAY WE FOUND THE PROBLEM. IF THEY DO NOT THEN WE FIXED A POSSIBLE FUTURE PROBLEM. IF ANY HANG-UPS DO OCCUR, EXECUTE COMMAND 026. THIS COMMAND PRINTS OUT ALL INFORMATION THAT EFFECTS THE PTT HOLD INSTRUCTIONS. CAPTURE THIS PRINT-OUT AND E-MAIL OR FAX TO US ASAP. FROM THIS PRINT-OUT WE CAN ISOLATE WHAT MODULE HAS THE PROBLEMS. WE USED THIS COMMAND IN THE PAST TO ISOLATE THE HANG-UP TO THE VOICE MODULE. 2) CHANGED THE DATE READBACK TO SPEAK YOU WILL NOT NEED TO REPROGRAM ANY VARIABLES WITH THIS NEW VERSION. SIMPLY INSTALL AND SEE HOW IT WORKS. LINK COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
