1) ENABLED COMMAND 121
	- ALLOWS USER CONTROL OF TONE ON\OFF WHEN IN PRE-ACCESS MODE
	- REMOVED THE HALF\FULL DUPLEX SWITCH.  IT IS NO LONGER NEEDED
	- ADDED DIAL TONE FREQUENCY PROGRAMMING

2) ENABLED CHAINING OF DVR MESSAGES ON THE SMALL DVR
	- LIMITATIONS: CAN NOT CHAIN MESSAGES ACROSS THE 1-5 SECOND BOUNDRIES

3) ENABLED USER CONTROL OF THE FORWARD PATCHES 7 DIGIT DIALING
	- ENTRY #5 ALLOWS CONTROL OF NO CHECK 7 DIGIT DIALING
		1 - ENABLES 7 DIGIT BYPASS DIALING
		0 - DISABLES 7 DIGIT BYPASS DIALING.  REQUIRES ALLOW TABLE
		ENTRY BEFORE NUMBERS CAN PASS.

	- CURRENT COMMAND 127 SETTINGS
		127 # $ % ^ &
			# - FULL OF HALF DUPLEX MODE (0=FULL, 1=HALF)
			$ - DIRECT DIAL READBACK (0=NO, 1=YES)
			% - MEMORY DIAL READBACK (0=NO, 1=YES)

			& - 7 DIGIT DIALING MODE (0=NO, 1=YES)

4) ADDED SERIAL DIGIT SENDING USING COMMAND 244
	- THE COMMAND HAS 2 FORMATS
		244 X D OR UNKEY
			WHERE 'X' IS THE BAUD RATE
				OR ...
		244 XXX..XXX D OR UNKEY
			WHERE 'XXX' IS THE ASCII NUMBER FROM 000..255

WHEN YOU PASS A NUMBER FROM 000..255 TO THIS COMMAND THE CONTROLLER WILL
CONVER THE DATA AND CONVERT IT TO ASCII THEN SEND IT SERIALLY.  APPLICATIONS
INCLUDE HAVING THE CONTROLLER CONFIGURE AN EXTERNAL TNC UPON RESET OR SETTING
UP AN EXTERNAL MODEM.

5) FIXED 300 BAUD RESET PROBLEM THAT WAS FOUND.

6) ADDED SOME CHECKING FEATURES TO WATCH PTT ACTIVITY.  THESE FUNCTIONS WERE
ADDED TO COMBAT ANY PTT LOCK CONDITIONS THAT MAY OCCUR AND CAUSE THE PTT TO
HANG.  A RESET ALWAYS CLEARED THE PROBLEM.  THE PROBLEM DOES NOT OCCUR MUCH
BUT ONCE IS ENOUGH.  IF A PTT HANG DOES OCCUR WITH THIS SOFTWARE PLEASE EXECUTE
COMMAND 026 FROM THE SERIAL PORT.  MAKE A HARDCOPY OF THIS SCREEN AND FAX, MAIL
E-MAIL OR CALL US SO WE CAN GET THE NEEDED INFORMATION FROM THE SCREEN DUMP.

GENERAL RELEASE WILL OCCUR AT VERSION 4.11.  THIS WILL BE THE LAST BETA RELEASE
OF THE NEW SOFTWARE.  THANKS FOR YOUR USEFUL INPUT.

Command 148 is the autopatch last number redial.

This directory should contain the following files:

readme             This file.
eproms.zip         The files needed to burn your own V4.10 eproms
                   for the RLC-2 and RLC-2a.
rlc2v410.pdf       The manual in pdf.  More info about pdf below.
                   This was supposed to be the final version of the
                   manual (see below).
rl2v410b.pdf       Same as above but with some typos fixed (see below).
ch_v410b.pdf       Just the changes made between the above two versions
                   of the manual.  Use this if you have already printed
                   out rlc2v410.pdf to update your printed copy.
                   
Notes:

  To install the update you need to unzip eproms.zip and burn two 27C512
  eproms, one with the voice data and one for the main program rom.
  After installing the new roms, power up the controller while holding
  down the initialization button on the circuit board.  This will set
  everything up for factory defaults.  You can then begin programming.

  eproms.zip contains:
    voice401.bin - Binary file for the voice rom
    rlc2a410.icm - RLC2a Binary file for main rom with Icom HF interface
    rlc2a410.kwd - RLC2a Binary file for main rom with Kenwood HF interface
    rlc2_410.icm - RLC2 Binary file for main rom with Icom HF interface
    rlc2_410.kwd - RLC2 Binary file for main rom with Kenwood HF interface

PDF is Adobe's Portable Document Format.  This is a format that can be
viewed and/or printed from DOS, Windows, Macintosh, and Unix systems
using the appropriate version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader. Acrobat is
freely distributable;  you can download it from Adobe's ftp site.  If
you have difficulty with their site, let me know and we may be able to
post the reader ourselves.  You may be able to download the viewer
and/or manual files using your WWW browser. All of the applicable
addresses are listed below.
