RLC-2 V4.00 Beta

Please note that this is beta software - it probably has bugs !!!!
Use it at your own risk!!!!

There is a known bug that can cause transmitters to lock on the air.
The transmitter lockup can be resolved by resetting the controller
(remotely is one way), but that does not completely clear the problem.
This requires reinitializing the controller or uploading a serial
file that was downloaded with command 222 before the lockup occured.

Command 148 is the autopatch last number redial.

This directory should contain the following files:

readme             this file
eproms.zip         the files needed to burn your own V4.00 eproms
                   for the RLC-2a ONLY!!! (serial numbers >= 150).
                   Files for the older RLC-2s will be created later.
rlc2v400.pdf       the manual in PDF - more information below

Notes:

  To install the update you need to unzip eproms.zip and burn two 27C512
  eproms, one with the voice data and one for the main program rom.
  After installing the new roms, power up the controller while holding
  down the initialization button on the circuit board.  This will set
  everything up for factory defaults.  You can then begin programming.

  eproms.zip contains:
    voice400.bin - Binary file for the voice rom
    rlc2a400.icm - Binary file for main rom with Icom HF interface
    rlc2a400.kwd - Binary file for main rom with Kenwood HF interface

  PDF is Adobe's Portable Document Format.  For more information about
  it and the view/print programs that can be used with it, see the readme
  file in the showcase/linkcomm directory.
