RLC-Club Version 1.59 The RLC-Club is a new controller that is in beta testing as of the time of this writing (5-7-96). We plan to release it at the Dayton Hamvention. Even though the controller is not available yet, you can try out many of its features. See the description of the files below. Most of the major changes since the last version center around support for the Doug Hall RBI-1 (remote base interface for Kenwood mobile radios). See commands 142, 151 and 152 in the manual for more details. You can find this file and the others described below on our internet ftp site. The easiest way to access it is through a web browser and our homepage (http://www.link-comm.com/linkcomm). You can also access it directly by anonymous ftp at ftp.netins.net in directory showcase/linkcomm/rlc-club/v159. readme.txt This file. club_win.zip A programming interface that lets you set up the RLC-Club without even opening the manual. It will be included with the RLC- Club. clubdemo.zip A DOS EXE program that imitates programming the RLC-Club from the serial port. You can try out most of the commands with it. Of course, since the hardware isn't available, you won't be able to hear the synthesized voice. rlc_club.pdf The complete manual including schematics in Adobe's PDF (Portable Document Format). See our web page for a link to their site where you can download Acrobat, the free print/viewing program. rlc_club.txt The manual in plain text format. It is not formatted for easy reading or printing, so we recommend that you use the PDF version (described above) if you can. eprom.zip The binary file needed to burn a new eprom with software version 1.53. It requires a 27C040 eprom, 120ns or faster. If you have any questions, please email, fax, or call me.
